History The company was founded in 1982 as a venture capital provider. 1986 saw the establishment of its consultancy arm, which initially served the UK but then branched out into mainland Europe and other parts of the world. Most recently, the company has established an IT consultancy and has hived down its UK economic development consultancy activities into a separate company, Consulting Inplace Limited. |
WM Enterprise provides support to business, primarily in the area of innovation. WM Enterprise also provides IT consultancy support. This activity is currently focused on small and medium sized enterprises in the West Midlands conurbation. International ConsultancyWM Enterprise undertakes economic and regional development consultancy across the world but mainly in countries that are in receipt of support from the EU and other donor bodies. It has completed over 500 projects in countries ranging from Albania to Vietnam and of duration from a few days to several years. It currently has five funds under management and is looking to raise further funds. The funds are differentiated by geographical area, size of investment and stage/type of investment made.
